Paula Millar is an active pianist, accompanist, and vocalist in Durango, having directed music and accompanied numerous musical theater performances at Fort Lewis College, Durango Arts Center, Durango High School, Aztec High School, and the Henry Strater Theater. Paula received her training at the University of Northern Colorado and quickly began focusing on accompanying vocalists. She has accompanied for recitals, competitions, auditions, and in recording studios. Recently, Paula has been vocal director for the youth programs at the Durango Arts Center, which has inspired a love for teaching kids. She believes that anyone can sing, and looks forward to helping students explore their voices. She also sings with the women’s barbershop group ‘Women’s Prerogative’, and the barbershop quartet ‘Mother Lode’.
