Lech Usinowicz is an award-winning music educator and orchestral leader with over 17 years of teaching experience in La Plata County. He is the founder of the Be Frank Foundation and now serves as Orchestra Department Chair at Stillwater Music, where he continues to expand youth orchestra opportunities across the Four Corners region. A graduate of Fort Lewis College, Lech has implemented first-ever orchestra programs in Bayfield and Durango schools, co-directed regional symphonies, and received the 2021 Exemplary Service to Music Education Award from the Colorado Music Educators Association. He remains a passionate performer, educator, and advocate for accessible music education.
