Jeff grew up in Texas and was fortunate to be a part of some wonderful music programs early in life. This kept him motivated and learning through high school and inspired him to pursue a degree in Music Education at Texas A&M- Commerce under Dr. Brian West. Jeff spent the next ten years teaching a wide variety of students all over the State of Texas as a public-school band and orchestra director. While he is no longer a public-school teacher, he continues to find ways to keep enjoying making music and teaching others to do the same. Jeff has a background in concert percussion (marimba, vibes, bells, auxiliary and snare drum), drum set and marching percussion and is very excited to work with new students at Stillwater Music!
