Casey Padron

Casey is an impassioned musician, performer, and teacher. A native Texan, she headed for the mountains as soon as she graduated high school to seek a Bachelor’s in Music Education from the University of Colorado and, later, a Master’s in Music Education from Colorado State University. She directed instrumental music in Utah public schools for 8 years and has taught privately for over a decade. An accomplished trumpet player, Casey has performed extensively in a variety of classical, jazz, and pop settings, including international performances with the Prague Multicultural Music Project and frequent appearances on the streets of Moab, Utah with the Fiery Furnace Marching Band. Outside of music, Casey enjoys making soap, spending time in her garden, running up hills, and playing in the mountains with her husband, Steve, and her pups, Fisher and Luna.
