Stillwater Music is Durango’s primary music education hub. Made up of 20+ faculty members and 5 full time staff, we teach music by placing students (young and old!) into high-quality bands, and we offer private lessons. Stillwater faculty also provide music instruction to a number of private and charter schools in the Four Corners area.
BAND PROGRAM
In our band program, musicians of all ages have the opportunity to learn and play music on both traditional and non-traditional instruments. Our students are playing songs you hear on the radio.

PRIVATE LESSONS
Stillwater students also have the opportunity to hone their skills as musicians through our large private lesson program. We teach dozens of instruments, voice lessons, and even early childhood music, how to use Garage Band and record your own music, and Professional DJ’ing!
